Comprehensive Veterinary Services Near You

From preventive wellness visits to advanced medical and surgical procedures, we’re here to support every aspect of your pet’s health with thoughtful, compassionate, and personalized care.

Preventive Care

Preventive care gives your pet a strong foundation for a healthier, more comfortable life. At Hudson Vets Tarrytown, we focus on routine wellness care that helps monitor your pet’s health and identify potential concerns early.

Urgent Care

At Hudson Vets Tarrytown, we built our practice around the idea that good medicine starts long before a pet is sick. A wellness exam, a well-timed vaccine, or an honest conversation about your dog’s weight does more for their long-term health than any treatment we could offer. It’s option-based, sensible care that meets your pet where they are, so small changes get caught while they’re still easy to manage, not after they’ve become something bigger. For pet owners in Tarrytown and along the river, that means fewer surprises and more good years with the animals you love.

Puppy/Kitten Care

A new puppy or kitten changes the whole rhythm of a household, and it comes with a lot to figure out at once. At Hudson Vets Tarrytown, we walk new pet parents through those first few months step by step, from initial vaccinations and parasite prevention to discussions about nutrition, socialization, and spay or neuter timing. As an independently owned practice, we focus on building a consistent relationship with you and your pet, so you can feel comfortable asking questions and discussing concerns at every visit. We would rather answer the same question twice than have you leave a visit unsure of what comes next.

Senior Pet Care

Getting older does not mean your dog or cat has to stop enjoying the things that make them themselves. At Hudson Vets Tarrytown, we take a thoughtful approach to senior pet care by monitoring changes in your pet’s health, behavior, mobility, appetite, and daily habits over time. As an independently owned practice, we can focus on building a consistent relationship with you and your pet and adapting their care as their needs change. Regular wellness visits also give us an opportunity to identify subtle changes early and discuss practical ways to help your pet remain comfortable and active.

Pet Surgery

Dental Care

Dental health is an important part of your pet’s overall well-being, yet changes in the mouth can be easy to overlook. Plaque and tartar can accumulate over time and contribute to gum inflammation, discomfort, and other oral health concerns. At Hudson Vets Tarrytown, we include dental health as part of your pet’s broader preventive care and discuss oral health concerns during wellness visits.

I am beyond happy and grateful that I discovered this place. Laura is amazing! She always makes us feel welcomed and is so compassionate as well. Thanks to her we adopted our 3rd cat after she saved him ❤️ Everyone here is so sweet — the receptionists, vet techs, and vets. All 3 of my cats come here and I have never had a bad experience.

I love the veterinarians, the staff, the cleanliness of the establishment. Everyone is fabulous and very friendly. They love their animals. They're attentive whether you need a routine shot or your poor baby is sick — they'll take great care of them. Thanks again for taking such great care of Cooper!
